New website for sausage made with Heart Healthy Oil

You might be one whose doctor has told you to stay away from meat because of the saturated fats. Perhaps you are already on cholesterol medication because of genetic concerns or dietary preferences. You might even have suffered from a heart condition that has permanently changed you lifestyle.
On the lighter side, maybe you just want to adhere more to the Atkins Diet way of eating to lose weight or keep it off.
The thing is, you are a meat eater through and through. You can only go so long before you need to sink your teeth into a slab of beef.
Now there's Vicki's Best - a sausage product that is manufactured with Heart Healthy Oils and high-quality bottom round beef. We have devised a patent-pending process that allows the good oil to stay in the meat after we take the bad animal fat out. So what you end up with is a Bratwurst, or Polish Kielbasa, or Chorizo, or Bologna , or Jalapeno Bratwurst summer sausage product that has the right oil (olive oil) that your body needs for a healthier lifestyle.
And what's really cool is that the taste and texture are phenomenal! The only way you would know it is different is because of the super clean after-taste instead of that gummy greasiness you are used to.
And the tale is in the numbers: saturated fat is about the same as what is standard in olive oil; protein is 22% higher; total calories from fat are reduced about 50%; all with about 35% reduction in calories. This is good stuff - a low-fat, heart healthy meat product that comes in beef stick, beef sausage loops, or beef sausage logs. And it actually contains polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats - something no other product on the market has.
It's Vicki's Best at Please take a look.

I have tried this healthy sausage and it is wonderful. I tasted the Chorizo flavor and Bologna flavor on whole grain crackers. I felt guilty about the flavor but not about the fat. Vicki's Best sausage would make a great tailgating/ football snack. It would also make a fun and healthy party tray. This sausage is really yummy!

Here is another fabulous recipe when using Vicki's Best Sausage with Olive Oil.
For those of you that love those breakfast sandwiches but have to watch fat content, you should try this. It has to be the healthiest on the market.
1) Take your favorite whole grain bread or bun. Toast it.
2) Slice desired thickness from the 2 1/2 inch log and place on first piece of toast.
3) Slice fresh mozzarella cheese to cover the sausage slices.
4) Make omelet shaped to bread outline out of egg beaters or egg whites ( I really like the southwestern flavor of egg beaters).
5) Place 2nd piece of toast over this and heat in microwave or in pan until cheese melts.
6) Enjoy the healthiest sandwich on the market.

Mozzarella cheese is probably the least fat cheese around. If you want to leave it out, the sandwich can be made with just the sausage (any flavor)from Vicki's Best and egg beaters.

Some exciting news about Vicki's Best Sausage with Olive Oil.

Something rather exciting just occurred less than 2 weeks ago. Vicki’s Best Sausage with Olive Oil is a Top 5 Finalist in the National Cattleman’s Beef Association, 2008 Innovative Beef Product Contest. This is the most prestigious beef product contest hosted by the most prominent beef related association in the United States of America. The winner will be chosen in mid January.

Should we win the top prize of $50,000 in free advertising dollars, you are likely to hear quite a bit about us.

Have I mentioned that Vicki's Best at is the only product on the market that does this: we not only take out the stuff that is bad for your heart health (think of 96/4 ground beef), we add something back in that is well known to be good for heart health - that is, Olive Oil. This distinction places our product at a level not seen in the market place before now. Vicki's Best - Nothing Better! Sausage made with heart healthy olive oil. Ask your grocer to carry it.
